Number of Volunteer(s) needed: 1-2 people throughout the event; preferably the same people as they become familiar with the tasks and events. Peak days on Wednesday (07:30 to 17:00), Thursday (07:30 to 17:00) and Friday (07:30 to 17:00). Also, Tuesday (11:00 to 17:00) and Saturday (07:30 to 17:00)

Volunteer Job Description:

Please note that there will be a person from CiB Head Office at the desk at all times to work with the volunteers.

Assist with registration : give out delegate bags/folders, name badges and other conference material
Assist with general information on the event
Take messages for accounting or last minute registrations, if no one from Head Office is at the desk
Assist delegates with any questions, requirements, etc.

Qualifications:

- love to meet other people
- general knowledge of our community, of Communities in Bloom, of the Symposium and Awards Ceremony
- English essential, at least 1 person per assignment per shift bilingual
