Description
The Moncton Regional Committee Member has the opportunity to interact with others who are interested in pay equity as a social justice issue. We work together to develop ways to promote pay equity in Greater Moncton. Event planning for Pay Equity Day, International Women's Day have been a big part of the work on the committee, but we are very open & excited to hear what you have to bring!
Qualifications
The committee will function in English, but bilingualism is an asset.
Those who work in predominately female jobs (Women and Men) are most welcome, but anyone who has a heart for this cause are equally welcome!
A strong sense of social justice
No prior knowledge of pay equity required, but a willingness to learn and work together!

Volunteers can expect approximately a once per month commitment, depending on current events related to the issue.
